Long Beach, Dec 10, 2013 – JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, today introduced four new CD receivers that will be available in the U.S. starting this month. Receivers feature illuminated USB ports as well as detachable faceplate security and 6-key preset station keys on the front faceplate. New models will include double the amount of available preset EQ settings from six to twelve and new digital processing tuners for better AM and FM reception quality.

JVC MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT EXPANDS APP COMPATIBILITY AND CAPABILITY IN ITS 2013 MULTIMEDIA, CD, AND DIGITAL MEDIA RECEIVERS

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2013  — JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, has expanded its list of compatible apps, which work in conjunction with four new multimedia in-dash receivers. Driven by the App Link Mode feature, the head unit provides control similar to the iPod®/iPhone®*, offering simultaneous playback and display of App data on the receiver’s screen, as well as audio playback through the vehicle’s speakers. Apps currently compatible with App Link mode include INRIX Traffic, TuneIn streaming music service, SonicMax Pro for JVC (Powered by BBE), the DriveMate Rec suite of apps, and Pandora® Internet Radio. More apps will be added this year.

For 2013, JVC has introduced an advanced version of the technology for all new multimedia receivers called App Link Mode with Extended Control, which will both display the application’s data on the multimedia receiver’s display and allow users to touch anywhere on the screen to operate the app’s functions as they would on their smart phone. Audio is also played back through the vehicle’s speakers. The first compatible app with the new App Link Mode with Extended Control is MotionX-GPS Drive and more will be announced soon. JVC’s 2012 Navigation series introduces state-of-the-art clear and realistic sound with an offering of over ten professional sound setting adjustments as well as a graphic thirteen band equalizer and time alignment. Screens offer beautiful picture for both map display and video playback with upgraded super-fine WVGA LCD Monitors. Various map display features as well as quick response and operation are enabled with a two times faster high-speed data processing LSI, 8GB Solid State Drive with over 8 Million Points of Interest, and an S3 format data compression system for quick data storage and recall which allows faster menu and route calculations. JVC Mobile Offers High-End Arsenal Series Digital Amplifiers, Speakers & Subwoofers with 2-Year Warranty

Long Beach, Calif., January 10, 2012  — The KS-AR9501D Arsenal Amplifier offers a slightly curved main unit for smooth design with multiple installation options. The illuminating panel and smoked controlled cover assist in easy under seat installation and other hard-to-see installing areas of your car. Encased in the KS-AR9501D are the large control keys, which need no tools for adjustment and are 2cm in diameter.

Compact and versatile, the JVC logo plate can be attached in four different ways for flexible settings. Cascade stacking allows for pairing of multiple amps and is useful with the external bridging function. The KS-AR9501D’s external bridging can be used through the optional pin connector, allowing the use of multiple amplifiers at once. Using one unit as your master, and the other as the slave, you can take two 1500W amps and produce a total of 3000W at 2Ω. All adjustments and control amplifiers in this configuration are done through the master unit, leaving the slave unit locked. Additionally, the RM-RK130, a wired bass boost remote control, can be added to the master unit. The KS-AR9501D digital amp is now available with an MSRP of $649.95.

Also introduced for the first time in 2011 will be “Artist Experience” through HD Radio, which shows on-screen album jacket artwork or station information graphics while listening to HD programming. Artist Experience will be standard in both new Navigation models KW-NT30HD and KW-NT50HDT, as well as a later update, which will be made available for the 2010 KW-NT3HDT model.
