JVC UPDATES MULTI-COLOR HEADPHONE LINE TO MATCH iPOD® NANO® 5G COLORS

LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2010 – JVC has updated the color selections for its popular Marshmallow, Gumy Air, New Gumy and Flats headphone models.  The HA-FX35 Marshmallow, HA-F240 Gumy Air and HA-F140 New Gumy headphones are now available in nine different colors that match the colors of the fifth-generation iPod® nano®.  The JVC Flats offer a choice of six updated colors.

In offering a wide range of color options for its headphones, JVC pairs style with performance, with all models offering the excellent sound reproduction, comfort and secure fit that make them the top choice for music enthusiasts.

The HA-FX35 Marshmallow comes in two sizes of soft memory-foam earpieces to fit the ears. These unique inner ear headphones are designed to mold to the ear’s contours for excellent isolation from the surrounding environment. The 0.33 in (8.5 mm) neodymium driver and 3.94-foot (1.2 m) friction noise reduction cord further reinforce the superior listening experience.

The HA-F240 Gumy Air incorporate JVC’s revolutionary “Air Cushion” soft silicon earpiece, making for secure-fitting headphones that will not fall out of the ear. The HA-F240 also features a 0.43-inch (11 mm) neodymium driver unit and 3.28-foot (1.0m) friction noise reduction cord for optimal sound reproduction.

The HA-F140 New Gumy represents an innovation in comfort, designed to fit the ear with a unique curved housing. The large 0.53-inch (13.5 mm) neodymium driver delivers dynamic sound, offering a superior listening experience for music lovers.

The HA-S150 Flats headphones, available in six different colors, offer a convenient solution for carrying and storage with a unique flat-foldable design, ideal for people on the go. The lightweight stainless steel headband and soft ear pads provide comfort and a secure fit, while the 1.18-inch (30 mm) neodymium driver units ensure exceptional sound reproduction, greatly enhanced by the closed-type ear pads.

All models also offer a slim, gold-plated iPhone-compatible plug.

All models will be available in February 2010.
