JVC Mobile Introduces 3 New AV Multimedia Receivers

January 2010, Cypress, Calif. – JVC Mobile Entertainment introduces four new AV Multimedia products, loaded with new technologies and enhanced connectivity for the ultimate in-vehicle consumer experience.

JVC Mobile Entertainment will release two new double-din receivers in 2010, including the KW-AVX830 DVD/CD/USB receiver. The KW-AVX830 receiver features a 7-inch motorized widescreen touch panel display, proximity sensor and detachable face.  The unit includes built-in Bluetooth wireless technology, USB 2.0 port for 2-way iPod/iPhone control and is HD and SAT ready.  The KW-AVX830 is WAV/MP3/WMA compatible, and features a 7-band iEQ, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, Three sets of 5V pre-outs, subwoofer control and a wireless remote.  The receiver is $649.95 and will be available for shipping in March.

JVC Mobile Introduces Five New Arsenal CD and Multimedia Receivers

January 2010, Cypress, Calif. – JVC Mobile Entertainment introduces five new Arsenal CD and multimedia receivers to fulfill the growing demand for in-vehicle convenience and expandability. As with all Arsenal Series receivers, the 2010 CD and multimedia models carry a 2-year warranty, Steering Wheel Remote Control capability, and High Voltage 5V pre-outs.

The new KD-A815 in-dash CD Receiver features front auxiliary input, dual USB ports, 2-way iPod/iPhone control, Bluetooth wireless technology via included USB Bluetooth adapter, and External mode for iPod/iPhone which allows USB audio playback from iPhone/iPod Touch applications. JVC Mobile’s new Flagship KD-R900 In-Dash CD Receiver features two Full-Speed USB 2.0 ports for connection of an iPod®/iPhone™, USB flash memory drives, digital audio players, and portable HDD devices. Users can connect two of these devices simultaneously by utilizing the KD-R900’s dedicated front and rear USB ports. Also featured on this receiver is full Bluetooth® functionality, including hands-free phone calling and wireless audio streaming capability via an included USB Bluetooth® adapter and high-quality external wired microphone. The included USB Bluetooth® adapter operates as a fully-functional receiver, transmitter, and antenna for Bluetooth® and plugs into either of the KD-R900’s USB ports. Convenient and Full-Speed iPod®/iPhone™ song selection is made possible through a 2-way iPod control feature, allowing the option of using the in-dash receiver’s or the iPod®/iPhone™ controls themselves to make music selections. Artist, Title, and Album information display, as well as Play, Pause, Skip, and Reverse functions are enabled in both control modes. The unit is equipped with a front aux input, Flip-Down detachable faceplate, and a Full Dot LCD display with variable-color illumination which is capable of over 30,000 customizable colors to match most vehicles’ interior illumination hues. January 2008, Cypress, Calif. — JVC Mobile Entertainment’s new 2008 lineup includes many products offering expanded Bluetooth connections for hands-free calling, audio control and streaming, and increased convenience and safety.

JVC Mobile and Arsenal Series Receivers that feature built-in Bluetooth or are Bluetooth-ready via an interface offer hands-free calling while driving. Phone calls can easily be made and received directly through the receiver, and voice recognition technology enables immediate dialing from the driver’s cell phone without the distraction of handling the phone while driving. Phone book entries can be stored and accessed on the receiver, and text messages can also be displayed on-screen.

Bluetooth connectivity allows music enthusiasts to listen to their favorite songs and artists wirelessly from iPod, cell phone or Bluetooth-enabled device through the receiver. It also allows the listener to control PLAY, PAUSE, and SKIP feature on MP3/iPod directly from the receiver.

Also new for 2008 is the AA-T100BT wireless Bluetooth adapter for iPod. The interface connects to iPod for wireless high-quality audio streaming into a JVC Bluetooth head unit and uses the iPod’s internal battery power so there is no charging required. MSRP is $99.95, now shipping.

The following receivers from JVC Mobile feature built-in Bluetooth technology:
* KD-AVX44 El Kameleon Multimedia Receiver
* KD-ADV49 El Kameleon Multimedia Receiver for Arsenal Series
* KD-ABT22 CD Receiver
* KD-BT11 CD Receiver

Models KD-ADV49 and KD-ABT22 receivers can be upgraded by CD-ROM to work with the latest cell phone models if pairing fails.

All JVC “Ready for Bluetooth” in-dash stereos (starting at $119) are able to take advantage of compatibility with the KS-BTA200 add-on Bluetooth adapter. The KS-BTA200 offers audio streaming, hands-free, phone book transfer, text message display and voice dialing. The KS-BTA200 includes a microphone and carries an MSRP of $149.95, now shipping.
