New AC/DC clock radio and CD player/tuner feature built-in iPod docks.
LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2010 – Two new multifunctional iPod® docks were announced today by JVC – a one-piece table radio-style entertainment center with CD player and FM tuner and a clock radio that offers the options of AC or battery power.
The new RD-N1 CD player/tuner/iPod dock is an elegantly designed one-piece system with clean, simple, European-type styling, with a high quality black finish. It offers a top-mounted iPod dock, CD player and FM tuner, plus a front audio input for connecting other playback devices. Power output is three watts per channel.

LAS VEGAS, January 7, 2010 – The JVC Kaboom is back and updated for the digital age. The legendary boombox, first launched in 1998 and renowned for its high power and durability, remains true to its heritage, but now includes a built-in iPod® dock and USB Host.

The new JVC RV-NB50 (black and silver) and RV-NB52 (black) Kaboom boasts 40 watts of power and retains the original’s general design – a large cylindrical shape with a woofer at each end. Bass enhancement circuitry ensures room-rattling low frequency performance. Digital era upgrades include the iPod dock, which is shielded from the elements by a protective door, and USB Host for playback of music files stored on a USB mass storage device. In addition, there’s a CD player that can handle MP3 and WMA file playback, and an FM tuner. A remote control makes it easy to operate while a shoulder strap makes it a cinch to carry.

The new JVC NX-PN7, now available, accommodates two iPod players side-by side, charging them simultaneously and offering playback from each through the dock’s speaker system. Supplementing iPod playback is an AM/FM tuner, and adding to the unit’s versatility is a clock and timer. In addition, there’s an analog audio input for connecting other devices for playback. iPOD® DOCK FEATURED IN ONE OF TWO NEW JVC MICRO SYSTEMS
New system features a built-in flip-down iPod® dock.
LAS VEGAS, January 6, 2008 – JVC today announced two new micro audio systems, including one with a built-in, flip-down iPod® dock.
The new JVC UX-GP5 is a three-piece desktop audio system that offers the usual CD and AM/FM playback, but also offers convenient iPod playback through an iPod dock built into the front panel. When not in use, the dock is concealed behind a flip-down door. For iPod playback, the door flips down, revealing the dock. Other features include a total power output of 70 watts, a surround mode that creates a wider sound field through the systems two speakers, illuminated function keys and a front analog audio input for connecting other devices for playback through the system. The main unit and both speakers are finished in black. Controls and the iPod dock are illuminated in blue. The included remote features dedicated iPod control keys that simulate the iPod control wheel layout and users are able to easily shuffle, repeat, scroll, and select songs from the iPod menu.

POWERFUL NEW JVC MINI SYSTEMS INCLUDE BUILT-IN iPOD® DOCKS
Two new systems feature front-panel iPod docks, high power and dramatic new design.
LAS VEGAS, January 6, 2008 – JVC updates the traditional mini system with a pair of new models that each sport a built-in iPod® dock. At the same time, both systems offer what JVC mini systems have always offered – high power and dramatic design.
JVC’s new mini system line-up includes the MX-KC38, a powerful 220-watt mini system, and the MX-KC68, a 400-watt mini system featuring a separate subwoofer. In addition to an iPod dock, both models include JVC’s Sound Turbo for wall-shaking low frequency performance, CD player and AM/FM tuner.
The systems’ iPod “Stage Dock” is a recessed compartment on the front panel with blue illumination from above. The included remote features dedicated iPod control keys that simulate the iPod control wheel layout and users are able to easily shuffle, repeat, scroll, and select songs from the iPod menu.
