JVC Mobile Entertainment Introduces Five New AV Multimedia Receivers

Long Beach, Calif., January 10th 2012  — JVC Mobile Entertainment, the premier developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, introduces five new AV Multimedia products, loaded with new technologies and enhanced connectivity for the ultimate in-vehicle consumer experience. New Multimedia receivers feature enhanced connectivity with the new SiriusXM SXV200 Connect Vehicle Tuner (sold separately, XM subscription required). The SXV200 is a compact solution that can be mounted behind the dashboard and connects directly to the receiver using one simple cable. It is also plug and play – there are no translators or tuner programming required. The 2012 models also feature expanded compatibility and linking with the iPhone® and iPod® with 2-way song selection control.  Four new models add a new App Link Mode feature which enhances the user experience of certain iPhone apps with live on-screen graphic display and music playback through the vehicle’s speakers. App link mode supports functionality from iPhone® apps such as MotionX®-GPS Drive, MOG Internet Radio, WebReader, Cobra iRadar™, INRIX Traffic, TuneIn Radio, DriveMate Rec,  DriveMate SafetyCam, DriveMate Rec mini, DriveMate OnboardCam, DriveMate TimeTrial and SonicMax™ Pro for JVC (an HD-quality music player powered by BBE Sound). Support for additional apps will be added in the future. Some applications such as MotionX-GPS Drive and MOG Internet Radio integrate further by allowing key functions to be controlled from the receiver’s screen without having to touch the iPhone®. Also, key functions of Pandora® internet radio such as thumb up/down, skip, and station selection can be controlled via the head unit while artist, song, and album artwork appears on the display. Additionally, 2012 models include a new digital music option of music playback with Blackberry® via USB connection from either the phone’s internal or external memory.

JVC Mobile Introduces 3 New AV Multimedia Receivers

January 2010, Cypress, Calif. – JVC Mobile Entertainment introduces four new AV Multimedia products, loaded with new technologies and enhanced connectivity for the ultimate in-vehicle consumer experience.

JVC Mobile Entertainment will release two new double-din receivers in 2010, including the KW-AVX830 DVD/CD/USB receiver. The KW-AVX830 receiver features a 7-inch motorized widescreen touch panel display, proximity sensor and detachable face.  The unit includes built-in Bluetooth wireless technology, USB 2.0 port for 2-way iPod/iPhone control and is HD and SAT ready.  The KW-AVX830 is WAV/MP3/WMA compatible, and features a 7-band iEQ, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, Three sets of 5V pre-outs, subwoofer control and a wireless remote.  The receiver is $649.95 and will be available for shipping in March.

As with all Arsenal Series receivers, the 2010 CD and multimedia models carry a 2-year warranty, Steering Wheel Remote Control capability, and High Voltage 5V pre-outs.

The new KD-A815 in-dash CD Receiver features front auxiliary input, dual USB ports, 2-way iPod/iPhone control, Bluetooth wireless technology via included USB Bluetooth adapter, and External mode for iPod/iPhone which allows USB audio playback from iPhone/iPod Touch applications. As with all Arsenal Series receivers, the five new 2009 CD and multimedia models carry a 2-year warranty, Steering Wheel Remote Control capability, and High Voltage 5V pre-outputs.

The new KW-AVX792, is a CD/DVD/USB Multimedia Receiver with a 7-inch widescreen touch panel display and proximity sensor. This unit features a full-speed USB 2.0 port for iPod®/iPhone™, USB flash memory drive, digital audio player, and portable HDD connections. The KW-AVX792 also features 2-way control for iPod®/iPhone™, which allows listeners to control their iPod®/iPhone™ from either the player itself or from the receiver’s controls, while allowing song and artist information display, play, pause, skip, or back commands from either device. This receiver is also HD Radio™ ready, Satellite Radio ready, and ready for Bluetooth® adapter. The KD-AVX792 also features Digital Output Terminal, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, 7-band iEQ, and is WAV/MP3/WMA compatible. The receiver is available for shipping in February with an MSRP of $579.95.

The KD-A805 In-Dash CD Receiver features two Full-Speed USB 2.0 ports for connection of iPod®/iPhone™, USB flash memory drives, digital audio players, and portable HDD devices. Users will be able to connect two of these devices simultaneously by utilizing the KD-R900’s dedicated front and rear USB ports. Also featured on this receiver is full Bluetooth functionality, including hands-free phone calling and wireless audio streaming capability via an included USB Bluetooth® adapter and high-quality external wired microphone. The included USB Bluetooth® adapter operates as a fully-functional receiver, transmitter and antenna for Bluetooth® and plugs into either of the KD-A805’s USB ports. Flexible Full-Speed iPod®/iPhone™ song selection is made possible through JVC’s 2-way control for iPod®/iPhone™, allowing the option of using the in-dash receiver’s or the iPod®/iPhone™ controls themselves to make music selections. Artist, Title, and Album information display, as well as Play, Pause, Skip, and Reverse functions are enabled in both control modes. The unit is equipped with a front aux input, detachable faceplate, and a Full Dot LCD display with variable-color illumination which is capable of over 30,000 customizable colors to match most vehicles’ interior illumination hues. The unit is also HD Radio™ Ready, Satellite Radio Ready, and MP3/WMA compatible. The KD-A805 features a 3-Band Parametric iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50W x 4, and 5V front, rear, and subwoofer pre-outputs with Subwoofer Control. JVC will continue its strong HD Radio presence with a new KD-AHD59 CD Receiver, featuring a built-in HD Radio™ tuner with Multicasting and iTunes® Tagging capability, front auxiliary input, and Full-Speed USB 2.0 connection with 2-way control for iPod®/iPhone™. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-AHD59 also features 7-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and a variable-color illumination display. The receiver is available for shipping in January and has a MSRP of $199.95.

The new Arsenal Series KD-A605 CD Receiver features a Full-Speed USB 2.0 connection with 2-way control for iPod®/iPhone™. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, HD Radio™ Ready, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-A605 also features a 3-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and variable-color illumination display. The receiver is available in January with an MSRP of $169.95.

The new KD-A305 in-dash CD Receiver features front auxiliary input, wireless remote, MOSFET 50 watts x 4, and 3-band iEQ. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, HD Radio® Ready, and Ready for iPod®, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-A305 also features a 3-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and variable-color illumination display. The receiver is offered at an MSRP of $129.95 and is currently shipping.

Returning to the 2009 line is the El Kameleon KD-ADV49 CD/DVD Receiver with 3.5” widescreen monitor, proximity sensor and touch pad control. This unit includes built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology and is HD Radio™ and Satellite Radio ready. The KD-ADV49 features USB 2.0 connection for iPod®, 5.1 Ch. DTS/Dolby Digital surround decoder, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, 7-band iEQ, and is AAC/WAV/MP3/WMA compatible. The receiver is available now with an MSRP of $529.95.
